Who We Are

We are commissioning experts specializing in Professional, Retro- Commissioning, and LEED Commissioning. Realizing the benefits that quality assurance commissioning gives to facility owners, Juan Suarez and Bill Trefz formed SPTCx Commissioning in January 2008.

STPCx is based out of two offices in the Philadelphia area and has an expert staff with practical training in engineering, project management, owner’s representation, construction administration, architecture, and commissioning.

Our team has worked critical projects including BSL-3 Biomedical Laboratories, Cyclotron Building Facilities, Museums, Teaching Laboratories, classrooms buildings, and have an extensive expertise in HVAC, building automation, lighting, electrical, steam, and cooling systems. We have found that the each project is often unique and complex requiring diligence, knowledge, creativity, and a willingness to overcome challenges.
