LEED / Sustainable Consulting
From an owner’s perspective… investment in sophisticated building technologies such as efficient lighting, energy, and active/passive technologies must be accompanied by a rigorous construction quality assurance and performance verification measurement, which are best provided by third-party commissioning providers.
As active members of the U.S. Green Building Council, we have also been involved with LEED certified projects and participate with other programs such as Energy Star and Green Globes. We are knowledgeable and experienced in commissioning and retro-commissioning of a wide variety of Sustainable Building Systems. From commissioning buildings providing chemical-free and healthy working environments to providing users to fresh air and personal control to their environment. STPCx has a long-standing history of commissioning sustainable buildings.
Certification Services
LEED is a fundamental component of services offered by STPCx. LEED APs support and encourage the design integration required by LEED and streamline the application and certification process. In-house LEED Accredited Professionals, provide services to support and assist clients in the certification process. A principal participant of the project team will result in one Innovation and Design credit (iD Credit 2) in the certification process.
LEED Commissioning Services can be applied to both LEED for New Construction and LEED for Existing Buildings. Our services assist building owners minimizing environmental impacts with the goal of maximizing operational and performance efficiency. Commissioning can be applied to both existing buildings seeking LEED certification and projects previously certified under LEED for New Construction, Schools, or Core & Shell.
